It’ll be a busy night in Mexico City later this month when CMLL presents its annual anniversary show.
Nine bouts have been confirmed for this year’s CMLL Aniversario lineup, which will go down at Arena Mexico on September 18. Along with four previously announced matchups, the show has three new title showdowns.

Most notably, a three-way will take place for the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship, currently held by AEW’s Hechicero. The Don Callis Family member will try to fend off former champ Claudio Castagnoli as well as NJPW technician Zack Sabre Jr. in the upcoming bout.
In the women’s division, defending champ Persephone will wager her title against ex-TNA name Tessa Blanchard, STARDOM’s Starlight Kid, and Mina Shirakawa from AEW.
Tag champs Angel de Oro and Niebla Roja are also expected to defend their tag titles in a four-way bout. We’re still waiting on confirmation of their full list of opponents, as qualifying matches will take place in the coming weeks.
Last month, CMLL confirmed a huge four-way tag match as part of the show’s main event. The winning team will break off into a one-on-one aquestas (mask versus mask or hair versus mask) match immediately afterward, meaning someone might leave Arena Mexico with their identity revealed later this month.
It was previously also revealed that Andrade El Idolo and Bandido will appear as part of the card. Here’s a look at the full lineup:
