AEW aired a vignette promoting Wardlow’s return during Saturday’s All Out pay-per-view.
The video, which aired following the three-way ladder match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship, featured highlights from Wardlow’s previous run with the company and signaled that his return to AEW programming is approaching.
No date was announced for his return to the ring.

Wardlow has not wrestled since challenging Samoa Joe for the AEW World Championship on the March 13, 2024 edition of Dynamite: Big Business.
His extended absence included a car accident in April 2024 and time away to film Amazon Prime Video’s revival of ‘American Gladiators’. Wardlow appeared on the series as the Gladiator “Fang,” with the show premiering this past April.
He briefly returned to AEW television at Forbidden Door in August 2025, attacking Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana following Strickland’s match against Kazuchika Okada. Wardlow subsequently aligned himself with the Don Callis Family.
However, he did not make it back to the ring. Wardlow later confirmed that he suffered a torn pectoral muscle around the time of the Forbidden Door appearance.
