Several details have emerged after the sudden passing of Benjamin Satterley, a.k.a. Pac.
The AEW wrestler died on Sunday, with his death being overseen by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office in Illinois.
The California Post obtained audio of the dispatch call when Satterley was observed slumped over in his vehicle outside of the Cava restaurant in Des Plaines, Illinois (near O’Hare airport).
The Daily Herald is reporting that Satterley was alone in the vehicle and there were no indications of foul play or trauma, nor did it appear suspicious, according to a spokesperson with the medical examiner’s office. The report adds that an autopsy was being performed on Monday.
An official with the medical examiner’s office tells POST Wrestling that “the cause and manner of the death are pending for additional testing. It may be several weeks before results are available.”
Satterley was pronounced dead at 4:08 p.m.
AEW has announced that a tribute to the deceased wrestler will take place on Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
