The next man in line for Grayson Waller’s NXT Championship will be determined next week.
A #1 contenders match for the NXT Championship will go down between Tony D’Angelo and Myles Borne on the October 13 episode of NXT, it was revealed on Tuesday night.
Former champ D’Angelo and ex-North American titleholder Borne both answered an open challenge from Waller on this week’s episode. Waller pitched the idea that they face off in a #1 contenders match, with the winner battling him at Halloween Havoc on October 31.
Along with the #1 contenders opportunity, three other matches have been confirmed for next week’s program.
The quarter-final round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will begin with a pair of matchups.
The Vanity Project’s Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes will take on the high-flying duo of EVOLVE’s Chazz Hall and AAA’s Mini Vikingo. Also, main roster duo Fraxiom will take on Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno in an all-European showdown.
It was also confirmed that a grudge match between Saquon Shugars and Tristan Angels has joined next week’s show.
