New Women’s tag champions were crowned on Friday Night SmackDown.

Alexa Bliss, subbing for Charlotte Flair, teamed with Tatum Paxley to capture the belts from Lainey Reid & Fallon Henley on Fatal Influence on Friday’s broadcast.

Jade Cargill, Michin & B-Fab attacked Charlotte Flair earlier in the show, forcing her out of the match and prompting Bliss to take her spot in the previously announced tag title match.

Reid attempted to help Henley by grabbing her partner’s arm to apply leverage on Paxley for a cover but was caught by referee Daphne LaShaun. Bliss removed Reid from the mix, hitting Sister Abigail on the floor, and Paxley landed Cemetery Drive and pinned Henley to win the titles.

It marks the fifth time Bliss has held the women’s tag titles, with past reigns alongside Nikki Cross, Asuka, and Charlotte Flair.

Paxley previously held the NXT Women’s Championship and North American Championship before her call-up to the main roster.
