Another vignette has been posted by AEW with the tease of a debut at WrestleDream.
The same style of vignette aired on this past week’s episode of Dynamite, heavily teasing the arrival of Ilja Dragunov.
A second video was posted on Friday evening with the tag “AEW WrestleDream” in the post, indicating a debut on Saturday’s pay-per-view in Orlando.

Dragunov left WWE after his contract expired, ending a seven-year relationship with the company. During his tenure at WWE, he became an NXT U.K. Champion and then came to the U.S. and won the NXT Championship in September 2023. Dragunov was moved to the Raw roster after WrestleMania 40 and moved to SmackDown after an injury took him out for a year. His lone title on the main roster was the U.S. Championship he won in October 2025 from Sami Zayn and lost to Carmelo Hayes in December.
WrestleDream takes place at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando on Saturday night.
