Queen Aminata will get her one-on-one title opportunity against Persephone next week.
Aminata won a shot at the TBS Champion on Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite, taking down the returning Maya World in a #1 contenders match. The victory means that she’ll get a crack at Persephone as part of next week’s Fright Night edition of AEW Dynamite from St. Louis, Missouri.
While Aminata has faced Persephone for the title before, that past clash came as part of a four-way title showdown at last weekend’s WrestleDream pay-per-view. Aminata, who is still chasing her first title in AEW, will be making her sixth attempt at grabbing the TBS belt in the upcoming booking.
Three other AEW matches were confirmed for the upcoming week on Wednesday night.
Matches 2 and 3 in the Best of 7 between FTR and the Motor City Machine Guns were revealed. The next match will take place as part of Saturday’s live edition of Collision from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Match three is scheduled for next week’s Dynamite.
It was also confirmed that Swerve Strickland, who beat Tome Filip in mere seconds on this week’s Dynamite, will square off against Myron Reed of The Rascalz on this weekend’s Collision.
Here’s how the next week of AEW TV looks thus far:
AEW Collision – 10/24/26
- Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler vs. Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin (Match 2 in Best of 7)
- Swerve Strickland vs. Myron Reed
AEW Fright Night Dynamite – 10/28/26
