Charlotte Flair has provided a positive update on her father after Ric Flair was taken to hospital following a fall in Tampa, Florida.

On Friday night, Charlotte posted on X that the 77-year-old was expected to be OK, while also sharing a joke her father apparently made to his doctor.

Not my dad telling the doctor he fell bc of warrior dropping him on his head…

(ps: he’s going to be ok)

The comment referred to The Ultimate Warrior, whom Flair wrestled during the early 1990s.

A further potentially positive update came on Saturday from Conrad Thompson.

He’s home. 🙏

Thompson did not identify the person he was referring to, although the timing of the post points to Flair. He is Ric Flair’s son-in-law, having married Flair’s daughter Megan Fliehr in 2018.

TMZ reported on Friday that Flair fell after leaving a Wagamama restaurant in Tampa and suffered cuts to his head and eye. He was attended to by medical personnel before being transported to hospital by ambulance.

Earlier that day, Flair had announced that he was dealing with a blood clot in his leg and would be unable to attend the Washington State Horror Con in Seattle. He said doctors had restricted his travel and that he was scheduled to undergo a procedure on the affected vein.
