Tiffany Stratton has retained the WWE Women’s Championship at the Evolution PLE, seeing off challenger Trish Stratus.

The match began with conventional holds and mat wrestling before the pair’s tempers flared and they exchanged slaps and strikes.

Stratus got a decent period of dominance after sending Stratton to the floor.

The pendulum swung back, with Stratton delivering a big swanton from the ropes, but only for two.

Another big near-fall came when Stratus raised her knees to counter the Prettiest Moonsault Ever and delivered Stratusfaction.

Soon after, though, Stratton hit an Alabama slam and the PME for the pinfall win.

Stratton then left the ring to Stratus, who got a chorus of “Thank you, Trish” from the crowd.

As soon as WWE Evolution ends, join John Pollock & Wai Ting as they review the show and Saturday Night’s Main Event on the POST Wrestling YouTube channel.
