NXT stayed even in the core 18-49 demographic despite a decrease in its overall audience on Tuesday.

The July 29 episode averaged 675,000 viewers and 215,000 (0.16) in the 18-49 demographic on CW.

The viewership declined by ten percent while the 18-49 demographic was identical to the prior week’s show featuring The Undertaker.

NXT ranked sixth among all television programs in prime time on Tuesday in the demo. It ranked behind America’s Got Talent (0.45) on NBC, Destination X (0.22) on NBC, High Potential (0.20) on ABC, Gutfeld (0.18) on Fox News, and The 1% Club (0.17) on Fox.

The major influx of viewers was females in the 18-49 demo, which shot up by 29 percent from last week and would be one of the largest numbers in that category since debuting on CW last year.

In the 18-34 demographic, NXT averaged a 0.07, which is down from last week’s 0.10 and a very low number for NXT in that demographic.

From 9 – 10 p.m. ET, NXT ranked #2 among network programming in the 18-49 and 18-34 demographics but last in overall viewership.

The program was headlined by Santino Marella challenging Ethan Page for the NXT North American title in Marella’s first WWE match since 2020.
