Tiffany Stratton weathered the storm at SummerSlam to retain her WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill.
Jade earned her title opportunity by winning the 2025 women’s Queen of the Ring tournament. She entered first, wearing ring gear inspired by the Jamaican flag in recognition of her family history.
Stratton then emerged for her first SummerSlam appearance, as the announcers reminded us that she had been wrestling for just four years.
As the bell went, Tiffany went right in for a flash pin, but Cargill kicked out and hit a big pump kick for a two-count.
The action soon spilled outside the ring more than once before Stratton hit a top-rope senton for only a one-count.
Jade then a spinning sit-out powerbomb for a near-fall. Tiffany rallied and went for the Prettiest Moonsault Ever but was stymied, leading to the two exchanging strikes.
Another attempt at the Prettiest Moonsault Ever was countered as Cargill got both legs up.

She was then able to hit Jaded, but Stratton’s leg was on the ropes.
Cargill countered another attempt at Jaded from the ropes, allowing her to climb up and hit a decisive PME for the pinfall win to retain.
