AEW has filed for a very ECW-like trademark just over a week before they kick off a residency at the grounds known by many as ECW Arena.

Days ahead of their multi-week stretch of events at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a trademark for “September To Remember” filed by AEW surfaced on the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) database.

The usage of the trademark is described for: “Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services in the nature of live professional wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of professional wrestling programs and events.”

Since the trademark first surfaced online, many have drawn parallels to November to Remember, the name of an event ECW ran on an annual basis from 1993 to 2000. Four past November To Remember cards took place inside the 2300 Arena.

AEW is notably doing a seven-event stretch at the former ECW grounds in Philadelphia, starting on August 27 and wrapping up on September 11.
