Hangman Adam Page defeated TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher to retain the AEW World Championship in the main event of All Out on Saturday night.

The hard-fought match, which went over the 30-minute mark, saw Fletcher control long stretches of the contest by repeatedly targeting Page’s neck.

The action escalated with several high-impact spots on the outside, with each competitor putting the other through a table. Fletcher first hit Page with a brainbuster through the timekeeper’s table. Later in the match, Page retaliated by hitting a Dead Eye on Fletcher off the ring apron through a table set up at ringside.

The closing minutes featured numerous near falls. Page kicked out of a brainbuster and another brainbuster that came after Fletcher countered a Buckshot Lariat. Fletcher survived Page’s Dead Eye and Big Pressure.

The finish came after Fletcher exposed a steel turnbuckle. Page countered Fletcher’s attempt to use it, slamming him face-first into the exposed steel. Page then delivered a Dead Eye from the top rope, followed by a Buckshot Lariat to secure the pinfall victory.

Page celebrated with his championship to close the show after whispering, presumably, some words of respect to a defeated Fletcher in the ring.
