A few matchups for the upcoming week of AEW programming were announced on Wednesday evening.
Two bouts have been confirmed for a special 7 p.m. ET start time of Collision this Saturday. The show, which airs this weekend but will be taped Thursday at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Florida, was moved ahead by an hour to air immediately following college football on the channel.
JetSpeed’s Kevin Knight issued a challenge to face a member of FTR for Saturday’s show. The twist? We don’t know which member of the tag duo he’ll face yet. It’ll be a rare singles appearance from Knight, who has found success in the tag division, working alongside Mike Bailey since they both joined AEW earlier this year.
It was also announced that Eddie Kingston, in his second singles bout since returning to the ring last month, will take on La Faccion Ingobernable’s Dralistico. Kingston made his first TV appearance in over a year on last week’s Collision, teaming with Hook to beat Big Bill and Bryan Keith.
The first championship matchup for a special “Title Tuesday” episode of AEW Dynamite has been confirmed. A special Tuesday night edition of the show from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida, will see Mercedes Moné put up her TBS Championship in an open challenge.

Although we don’t know who Moné will face, she teased on Wednesday that it’ll be someone local to the state of Florida. Whoever it is, they’ll have the chance to end Moné’s nearly 500-day reign as champ, a run which is just days away from surpassing the record first set by Jade Cargill.
While not officially announced yet, it seems likely that we’ll also see The Hurt Syndicate face The Demand (Ricochet and Gates of Agony) in a street fight match on next Tuesday’s Dynamite. Both teams agreed to the bout this week, providing a follow-up to their six-man tag bout at All Out last month.
