AAA Alianzas results: Lucha Brothers challenge Dominik Mysterio & El Grande Americano

The Lucha Brothers issued a challenge to Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano at Saturday’s AAA Alianzas event. 

The challenge occurred following the main event in Mexico City, where Mysterio and Americano defeated El Hijo Del Vikingo and Dragon Lee. 

The main event concluded when Vikingo refused to tag his partner, leaving Dragon Lee isolated. Americano secured the pinfall victory shortly after. 

Following the match, a video message played featuring Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero Miedo. The duo challenged the winners to a match at the Guerra de Titanes event on December 20. 

Mysterio accepted the challenge and declared his team the “new Los Gringos Locos.”

Wyatt Sicks set for Guerra de Titanes

A second major match was confirmed for Guerra de Titanes involving the Wyatt Sicks. Psycho Circus defeated El Ojo in a chaotic eight-man tag team match that saw Pagano go through a table. Psycho Clown secured the win with a Spanish Fly onto a steel chair. 

After the bell, Psycho Clown addressed the faction led by Uncle Howdy. Bo Dallas appeared on the screen to accept the challenge against Psycho Circus for the December event. 

Title picture updates

Elsewhere, NXT’s Je’Von Evans secured a future opportunity at the AAA Cruiserweight Championship by defeating Axiom and Octagón Jr. Evans pinned Axiom with the OG Cutter to earn a shot at the title currently held by Laredo Kid. The champion was on commentary for the match and confronted Evans in the ring afterward. 

Ethan Page and Chelsea Green retained the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships against Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana. Page secured the win after striking Iguana with a kendo stick while the referee was incapacitated. 

A post-match brawl ensued between Page and El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. Green struck Wagner Jr. with her title belt to aid her partner. Page is scheduled to challenge for Wagner Jr.’s Latin American Championship next month. 

Before the broadcast began, Apollo Crews returned to in-ring action. Answering an open challenge issued by Lince Dorado, Crews defeated Dorado in the untelevised contest.
