Jonathan Gresham is advertised for his first wrestling match since suffering a pair of strokes.
GCW & Jersey Championship Wrestling are advertising Gresham for the Superpower Slam benefit show on February 1, which is presented by Orange Crush.
The show at the Melrose Ballroom will be Gresham’s first since suffering a series of strokes this past summer.
Gresham wrote in August:
Two days ago, I woke up and couldn’t walk or move the left side of my body. I couldn’t see and could barely talk. It took me 30 minutes to dial 911, but I finally did. I woke up in the hospital, couldn’t remember what had happened. They told me they had done an MRI and I had two strokes.
Gresham is advertised alongside Matt Cardona, Mance Warner, Paul Walter Hauser, Effy, and Man Like Dereiss for the February 1 event.
JCW has also added Gresham to the Jersey J-Cup on February 6 & 7 at White Eagle Hall in Jersey City.
He last wrestled on August 2 at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIV against Pete Dunne.
