A number of developments were confirmed during the broadcast of NXT Deadline on Saturday night.

New Year’s Evil set for January 6

The first NXT special of 2026 has been officially confirmed. New Year’s Evil will take place on Tuesday, January 6, airing on The CW.

The main event picture for the show was solidified following the results of NXT Deadline. New NXT Champion Oba Femi is set to defend his title against the winner of the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge, Je’Von Evans. In the women’s division, NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne will defend her title against Iron Survivor winner Kendal Grey.

Matches set for Tuesday’s NXT

Several matches and segments have been announced for the December 9 episode of NXT on The CW.

NXT Women’s North American Champion Blake Monroe will hold an open challenge for her title. The match was made after Monroe approached General Manager Ava, who expressed skepticism regarding Monroe’s ability to defend the belt without assistance, noting she only retained recently due to Zaria throwing in the towel.

Jordynne Grace is scheduled to face Kelani Jordan. The two engaged in a brawl backstage during Deadline following their interactions in the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge.

The show will also feature the in-ring debut of Shiloh Hill. The ‘LFG’ winner has appeared in recent weeks via vignettes, telling stories about his life and accomplishments, including a segment on Deadline where he discussed an altercation with a squirrel.

Additionally, the tag team of Hank Walker and Tank Ledger (Hank & Tank) will return to the brand. The duo recently completed an excursion to Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan, where they briefly held the GHC Tag Team Championships.
