Netflix is trumpeting a sizable audience for this past Friday’s boxing fight between two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul.
Netflix, using data from VideoAmp, claims that the average minute audience for the main event on Friday was 33 million Live+1 viewers globally.
The same data service claims that the female bout involving Alycia Baumgardner and Leila Beaudoin attracted an average minute audience of 15 million Live+1 viewers.

EverPass, a U.S. first-party data service, estimates that almost 600,000 viewers watched the fight in commercial establishments across the U.S.
As of this writing, Tudum has not released its weekly data chart, but the press release from Most Valuable Promotions states the card ranked among the top ten in 91 countries and was #1 in 45 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Australia, Mexico, and Argentina.
It was the third boxing card promoted by Most Valuable Promotions and Netflix after last year’s fight between Paul and Mike Tyson, and the trilogy bout between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano this past July.
