OZAWA returns to the ring unannounced at Korakuen Hall

OZAWA made an unannounced return to the ring on Tuesday in the main event of NOAH’s Thanksgiving card.

The former GHC Heavyweight Champion has not wrestled since September 8, when he executed a moonsault to the floor in a match with Naomichi Marufuji on the opening night of the N-1 Victory Tournament.

OZAWA was unable to continue and forfeited the rest of his matches in the tournament and underwent surgery for a Lisfranc ligament injury.

He is set to challenge Yoshiki Inamura on January 1 for the GHC gold, but announced at the start of Tuesday’s card at Korakuen Hall that he would wrestle in the main event in a trios contest.

In front of 1,498 fans, OZAWA teamed with Masa Kitamiya and Tadasuke and prevailed over Inamura, Kaito Kiyomiya, and Tetsuya Endo after OZAWA used the Real Rebel on Endo.
