Tony Khan has confirmed the signing of the tag team of Hyan and Maya World to All Elite Wrestling.

The announcement was made immediately following the pair’s match on the Zero Hour preshow for Saturday’s Worlds End pay-per-view. Khan posted the news to X, stating that the deal was official:

They wrestled another fantastic match at the #AEWWorldsEnd Zero Hour tonight, and now it’s official: @_thehyan + @MayaWorldd are All Elite!

Hyan and World competed against the “Sisters of Sin” team of Julia Hart and Skye Blue on the Zero Hour broadcast, losing the contest.

This follows an appearance on the December 25 edition of Collision, where the duo lost to AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions The Babes of Wrath (Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale) in a non-title match.

The team’s journey with the company began under unusual circumstances during the November 8 taping of Collision in Houston, Texas.

Hyan and World were asked to step in on short notice to face the team of Tay Melo and Anna Jay. They replaced Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize, who left the venue prior to their scheduled match.

Although Hyan and World had not teamed together prior to the November 8 encounter, they have been regular fixtures on AEW television since that date.

Despite the contract news, the team has yet to record a victory on AEW programming.
