CM Punk confronts The Vision
The show opened with The Vision—Paul Heyman, Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, and Logan Paul—entering the ring. Heyman officially introduced Austin Theory as the faction’s newest member. Theory stated he had waited his entire career for this moment before being interrupted by World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk.
Punk dismissed Theory to address Bron Breakker directly regarding their upcoming title match. Breakker ordered his stablemates to leave the ring so he could speak with Punk alone. Breakker argued that he is not the “future” but the “now,” asserting that he has faced scrutiny his entire life and is willing to “die” for the championship on January 5.
Punk retorted that while Breakker is physically capable, he is not ready for the weight of the privilege that comes with being champion. Punk left the title belt on the mat and dared Breakker to pick it up, ultimately claiming Breakker would not be the one to defeat him.
These two are going to go to WAR on January 5th 🔥

WWE Women’s World Championship
Stephanie Vaquer defended her title against Nikki Bella and Raquel Rodriguez in a triple threat match. Backstage prior to the match, Liv Morgan encouraged Rodriguez to win for The Judgment Day, noting that both Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh were out of action with injuries.
The match saw Rodriguez utilize her power early, at one point applying a Gory Special to Vaquer. Bella later executed a tower of doom spot on both opponents. The finish came after Rodriguez delivered a powerbomb to Bella. Vaquer capitalized by throwing Rodriguez out of the ring and pinning Bella to retain the championship.
Gunther vs. R-Truth
In a backstage interview, Gunther mocked John Cena, prompting R-Truth to defend his childhood hero. This led to a match where R-Truth gained a brief early advantage before Gunther took control. The Ring General mocked Cena’s “You Can’t See Me” gesture before submitting Truth with a sleeper hold.
Kabuki Warriors brawl with Ripley and Sky
WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Asuka and Kairi Sane addressed the crowd, claiming no one was ready for them. They were interrupted by Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky. A brawl ensued in which Sane was thrown into the announce table. Ripley and Sky cleared the ring, standing tall over the retreating champions to build toward their match next week.
Rey Mysterio vs. Austin Theory
Austin Theory, accompanied by Logan Paul, faced Rey Mysterio. Theory controlled much of the match, attacking Mysterio’s back and legs. Mysterio rallied and connected with a 619, but Paul tripped him from the outside, causing a disqualification.
Following the bell, Theory and Paul beat down Mysterio. Penta returned to make the save, clearing the ring of the heels and celebrating with Mysterio.

Maxxine Dupri and Becky Lynch face off
Women’s Intercontinental Champion Maxxine Dupri addressed the crowd regarding her successful defense last week. Becky Lynch interrupted, denying that she tapped out and claiming she only tapped to “living in Orlando.” Lynch asserted she is the greatest female wrestler of all time. Dupri responded that Lynch would have to question her own legacy after Dupri beats her again on January 5.
World Tag Team Championships
The main event saw AJ Styles and Dragon Lee defend their titles against The Usos. The match featured high-speed offense, with Lee executing a dive over the announce table at one point.
Near the conclusion, Styles attempted a Phenomenal Forearm but was met with a double superkick. The Usos then hit the 1D on Dragon Lee to secure the pinfall and capture the World Tag Team Championships. The show closed with Jimmy and Jey Uso celebrating in the crowd.
