Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Ulka Sasaki is leaving Japan for a U.S. excursion, with his send-off match scheduled for next week.

The former UFC fighter announced his overseas excursion on Friday’s ‘Reboot’ event at Shinjuku Face, prompting a clash with KENTA after they just established the White Raven Sqwad the day before.

The two will face off at NOAH’s Legacy Rise on January 11 next weekend in Sasaki’s last match before leaving.

Sasaki, 36, competed in MMA from 2010 until 2023 with Shooto, UFC, and Rizin. He posted a 4-5 record in the UFC’s bantamweight division with wins against Roland Delorme, Justin Scoggins, Willie Gates, and Jenel Lausa. In November 2018, he was submitted by former flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja.

He joined NOAH in 2023 and held the GHC National Championship and tag belts with Kenoh.
