Andrade El Idolo vs. Angelico

In his first match back in AEW, Andrade El Idolo defeated Angelico in the opening contest. Andrade utilized his signature “Three Amigos” suplexes and a running Meteora in the corner. He secured the victory with a spinning elbow and his lifting neckbreaker finisher, which he now calls “The DM.”

The Rascalz appear

Following the match, Lexy Nair interviewed AEW’s newest signings, The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz, Trey Miguel, and Myron Reed). Emerging from a haze of smoke, the trio declared they were here to “take over” and warned the roster to “smoke ’em if you got ’em.”

Eddie Kingston & Ortiz vs. Grizzled Young Veterans

Eddie Kingston and the returning Ortiz defeated James Drake and Zack Gibson in a physical tag team match. The Grizzled Young Veterans isolated Kingston for a portion of the match, utilizing tandem offense and distraction tactics.

The finish came when Drake attempted to choke Kingston with a scarf while Gibson distracted the referee. Kingston fought back, and Ortiz struck Drake with a loaded sock (referred to as a “madball”) behind the referee’s back. Kingston capitalized with a DDT to score the pinfall.

FTR & Stokely Hathaway Address Challengers

Tony Schiavone interviewed AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR and Stokely Hathaway (in a wheelchair) on the stage. Hathaway congratulated the new number one contenders, Mark Davis and Jake Doyle, but claimed they lacked the ability to beat the “greatest tag team alive.”

Dax Harwood took exception to the contenders earning a title shot after just one match, stating that FTR built the division and that Davis and Doyle were living in a “fantasy world.”

Marina Shafir vs. Zayda Steel

With Jon Moxley on commentary urging her to “make her pay,” Marina Shafir defeated Zayda Steel via submission. Steel managed a brief flurry of offense, including a suicide dive, but Shafir overpowered her inside the ring. Shafir locked in her “Mother’s Milk” submission to force the tap out.

After the match was aired, Tony Khan took to social media to announce the signing of Zayda Steel.

Don Callis Family vs. SkyFlight

Prior to the match, a chaotic brawl erupted between the Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, and Daniel Garcia) and the Don Callis Family (Lance Archer and Rocky Romero). The fight spilled into the crowd and away from the ringside area.

Once order was restored, the scheduled trios match began. The Don Callis Family trio of Kyle Fletcher, El Clon, and Josh Alexander defeated SkyFlight (Scorpio Sky, Dante Martin, and Darius Martin). The match featured fast-paced action, with El Clon hitting a moonsault knees-first onto the ramp. The finish saw Josh Alexander trap Darius Martin in a trapped-arm piledriver for the pinfall.

After the match, Konosuke Takeshita came to the ring. Notably, he ignored most of his stablemates, choosing only to embrace Kyle Fletcher.

Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford vs. Danielle Kamela & Viva Van

Penelope Ford returned to the ring to team with Megan Bayne in a squash victory over Danielle Kamela and Viva Van. The team utilized a Doomsday Device on Kamela to secure the win.

Following the match, Marina Shafir joined Bayne and Ford in the ring. The celebration was interrupted by the “Timeless Love Bombs” (Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa). Storm referred to the trio as “sloptarts,” while Shirakawa vowed revenge for Shafir’s recent attacks.

Jack Perry vs. Anthony Bowens

With National Champion Ricochet on commentary, Jack Perry defeated Anthony Bowens to earn a future title shot. The match saw Perry utilize underhanded tactics, including biting Bowens’ hand during a scissoring attempt.

Bowens rallied with a series of strikes and a standing tornado DDT, but Perry ultimately secured the win with two running knee strikes. After the match, Perry confronted Ricochet at the commentary table, sparking a brief brawl.

AEW World Trios Championship: Hangman Page & JetSpeed vs. The Opps (c)

In the main event, the makeshift trio of Hangman Page, Kevin Knight, and Mike Bailey defeated The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata) to win the AEW World Trios Championships.

The match broke down into a chaotic six-man sequence, with Page hitting a moonsault to the floor onto Joe and Hobbs. Inside the ring, The Opps isolated Knight, but a miscommunication allowed Knight to counter a spinebuster attempt from Hobbs into a sunset flip pin to score the victory.

Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana watched from the stage as the new champions celebrated. Commentary noted that Strickland is scheduled to face Kevin Knight on Dynamite.
