Bandido has been removed from a lucha booking this weekend due to injury.

The ROH World Champion was expected to appear today in Monterrey, Mexico, facing Flamita as part of a RIOT Lucha card in Monterrey, Mexico.

However, the promotion announced recently that Bandido has been forced to withdraw from the show due to a minor hand injury, per Luchablog as well as Fightful’s Luis Pulido.

The 30-year-old wrestler is still expected to appear at the show for a signing, but won’t be stepping in the ring.

Bandido is coming off a huge 2025, establishing himself as a fixture in CMLL while becoming a major player in AEW. His momentum carried through into 2026 with a stand-out title match last month against world champion MJF on Dynamite.
