U.K.-based women’s promotion Pro Wrestling EVE went viral on Friday night after their latest event saw a cameo from John Cena… Sort of.

The brand’s “Multiverse Rumble” included an invisible competitor who went by the name John Cena, entering the ring and taking out two wrestlers portraying D-Generation X.

Playing off the “You Can’t See Me” slogan which followed Cena throughout his multi-decade wrestling career, the invisibility gag caught wind online, giving the local brand some viral success.

Some fell for the bait that Cena had come “out of retirement” just over a month after his last match against Gunther at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. However, with the star focused on Hollywood nowadays, such a return remains unlikely.

The Multiverse Rumble also saw wrestlers portraying AEW’s Will Ospreay (who is also the head booker of EVE), High School Musical’s Troy Bolton, Brittney Spears, and PaRappa the Rapper. Ultimately, it was Alexxis Falcon, portraying Mr. Bean, who won the match.
