NJPW’s Katsuya Murashima is heading to Germany.
As part of his excursion program, typically the final stage for an NJPW Young Lion trainee before they return to Japan and re-debut, Murashima will wrestle for German promotion wXw beginning next month.

The promotion announced Thursday that Murashima will move to the city of Gelsenkirchen in a few weeks and begin training at the promotion’s wrestling academy. He will also soon become a part of the brand’s touring roster.
Murashima’s wXw debut is set for March 5. He’s also confirmed for the brand’s March 7 card.
It was confirmed recently that Murashima, who won the 2026 Young Lion Cup, would go on an excursion soon. However, it wasn’t previously specified where specifically he would be heading to get his overseas experience.
Murashima is heading to the same spot where the Knockout Brothers, OSKAR and Yuto-Ice, spent the majority of their excursion time before returning to NJPW last year.
Murashima is one of two Young Lions going on an excursion soon. We also learned recently that Shoma Kato, a finalist in the Young Lion Cup, will head to Mexico and wrestle with CMLL after the Fantastica Mania tour wraps up later this month.
