NXT experienced a major increase among its key demographic with its largest 18-49 audience in four months.
The February 10 episode averaged 637,000 viewers and 163,000 viewers (0.12) in the 18-49 demographic on CW.
The audience increase was only one percent from last week’s average of 629,000 viewers, but the 18-49 audience grew by fifty percent and was the show’s largest since October 14.
The key demo saw its male audience increase from 67,000 to 114,000 viewers, and females improved from 33,000 to 47,000 viewers.
Adults 18-34 grew from a 0.05 to a 0.09 rating this week, and adults 25-54 from a 0.10 to a 0.16 rating.
All pro wrestling programming has seen a boost over the past two weeks, coinciding with Nielsen’s adoption of data from the Advertising Research Foundation.
NXT aired against NBC’s coverage of the Winter Olympics, which averaged 10,201,000 viewers in prime time and a 1.43 rating in 18-49. USA Network’s coverage of the Olympics topped cable with 2,039,000 viewers and a 0.48 rating in the demo.
