RESULTS

  • La Parka over Jack Cartwheel in 3:57
  • Las Tóxicas (Flammer, La Hiedra, Lady Maravilla) over Faby Apache, Jessy Jackson & Adelicious in 4:41
  • No. 1 Contender’s Match: War Raiders over Money Machine & Bravo & Rayo in 9:25

This week’s episode focused on the No. 1 Contender’s match for the AAA tag titles as the War Raiders won the three-way main event over Money Machine and Los Americanos of Bravo & Rayo.

The tapings in Queretaro featured a red-hot crowd last week, and it extended to this week’s episode as they were heated throughout all three matches.

The main event was an eye-opener regarding excess talent in WWE that the main roster has minimal usage for. Specifically, Tyler Bate & Pete Dunne, who are saddled with a comedy gimmick, which has minimal appeal in WWE, but they are really in Mexico and got to work a proper type of match.

Bravo (Bate) slammed Ivar for his big power spot of the match and followed with Rayo by connecting with double head butts. War Raiders made their comeback and the War Machine and Fallout on Colmillo de Plata of Money Machine to win.

They had a brief stare down with champions, Pagano & Psycho Clown, but were interrupted by Murder Clown, who ran down to grab the champions and raced outside. Once again, a member of the clowns has been attacked, and this time, Dave the Clown was rushed away in an ambulance with a mystery attacker on the loose.

Las Toxicas defeated Faby Apache, Jessy Jackson & Adelicious in a short match, with Apache having a massive reaction when she came out and during the match. Adelicious performed a lot of cool moves using her flexibility and hit a 450 splash on Flammer. Adelicious was knocked into the ropes and struck by La Hiedra on the floor, allowing Flammer to pin her.

The opener saw La Parka beat Jack Cartwheel, and the only negative was its short length at 4 minutes. They clicked, and Cartwheel is so fun to watch. He hit a Space Flying Tiger Drop and did a cartwheel into a Poisonrana. He crashed and burned off the top and was struck by a rolling cutter and Bone Breaker by La Parka.

They have increased the number of video packages with subtitles throughout all of them.

Hands down, the best thing on television this week was a scene inside a hospital where Mini Vikingo is on his deathbed after taking the powerbombs from Omos. The star of this video was Mini Vikingo’s mother, who was in tears, asking, “WHY?” Mini Vikingo said his neck hurt, but his heart hurts more because his namesake allowed this to happen. It ended with Mother Vikingo reading a card from a bouquet that read, “See you soon” from El Hijo del Vikingo.

Just the greatest video of all-time.

The Original El Grande Americano (Chad Gable) has discovered AI and produced his response to the fake El Grande Americano. Gable says he’s been the victim of IDENTITY THEFT and will go to Rey de Reyes and win the sword. The images and graphics conjured for this video are proof of where this world is headed with AI.

There was also a video for Santos Escobar, who is aiming to win the Rey de Reyes tournament as well. He said that he’s not the man he used to be, “I’m his ghost,” and that he is the “hands of fate”. He was on a motorcycle, too.  So, he’s dangerous.

Next week, Abismo Negro takes on El Fiscal, and they recapped their longstanding feud to bring new viewers up to speed.

There were also announcements for tapings on April 11 at Gimnasio Olimpico Juan de la Barrera and on May 2 back in Queretaro.
