AEW continued their live event series, House Rules, in Brisbane, Australia, on Sunday.

The following results and notes come from this Reddit post and Cagematch.

RESULTS

  • Wheeler Yuta over Adam Brooks
  • Mark Briscoe over Wheeler Yuta
  • The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay) over Frankie P and Aysha
  • The Brawling Birds over Kyle Knight and Charli Evans
  • Hangman Adam Page, Brody King, and Robbie Eagles over MJF, Kyle Fletcher, and Mark Davis
  • AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship: Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) over MegaBad (Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford) and Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart and Skye Blue)
  • The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) over The Velocities (Paris De Silva and Jude London)
  • Konosuke Takeshita over Dalton Castle
  • Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy over Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir

Wheeler Yuta opened the show, defeating Adam Brooks. Yuta wore a beanie following his loss in a hair vs. hair match against Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy. Yuta said no one could take his beanie off, prompting an impromptu match against Mark Briscoe, which the former TNT champion won. Briscoe removed Yuta’s beanie during the match and threw it into the crowd, but the Death Rider got it back.

The IInspiration made their debut in a winning effort over Frankie P and Aysha, who was reported by Fightful Select to be the person ringside during the Andrade El Idolo and Hangman Adam Page match. Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay confirmed they were “All Elite” after the match and called out any tag team. The Brawling Birds came out, but The IInspiration ran off, so Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor faced off against Kyle Knight and Charli Evans.

Eagles made his return to AEW for the first time since facing off against Lee Moriarty at AEW/ROH Global Wars Australia last year. Eagles’ only other AEW appearance was in 2024 when he teamed with Shane Haste in a losing bout against Orange Cassidy and Tomohiro Ishii on Collision. Kyle Fletcher also debuted a new pink design for his TNT championship.

House Rules marked The Velocities’ AEW debut. The only other promotion Jude London and Paris De Silva have wrestled in this year is Pro Wrestling Australia.

The main event featured Jon Moxley giving Toni Storm a German suplex and a Death Rider, but Storm and Orange Cassidy got the win after Mina Shirakawa and Mark Briscoe jumped Wheeler Yuta and took his beanie. The show concluded with AEW’s Australian talent and Robbie Eagles doing the “nutbush” dance.
