From America to Mexico to England to Japan, this weekend’s slate of wrestling is a proper tribute to the women of professional wrestling. Numerous stacked cards are set to go down this weekend, many of which are all-female.
And that’s not all. Along with the impressive women’s wrestling showcases this weekend, the New Japan Cup will continue, wXw’s biggest weekend of the year will go down, NXT will present its first PLE of the year, an Undisputed title bout will take place on SmackDown tonight, and much more.
There are over a dozen notable options to watch this weekend on streaming and TV! Here’s a quick rundown of it all, plus where and when you can catch it.
Friday
STARDOM Cinderella Tournament Night 1 / 5:00 a.m. ET / STARDOM World
A busy weekend of women’s wrestling has already gotten underway, as this morning saw the first night of STARDOM’s Cinderella Tournament kick off. The Joshi brand’s annual single-elimination bracket, made up of a whopping 32 entrants in total, has a long lineage of important winners, including Giulia, Mayu Iwatani, Toni Storm, and Saya Kamitani. Among those beginning their tournament run today were: Comedian turned full-time wrestler Fuwa-chan, 2024 winner Hanan, and Maki Itoh, the former TJPW talent who officially signed onto the STARDOM roster just two months back and is competing in her first-ever Cinderella Tournament.

NJPW 54th Anniversary Card / 5:30 a.m. ET / NJPW World
NJPW also presented a card this morning, hitting up the Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo for their 54th Anniversary Show. Along with the continuation of New Japan Cup action, today’s show featured a showcase of the junior heavyweight division, with both tag and singles gold on the line.
House of Torture has put together a banner week thus far, with Don Fale unseating Aaron Wolf in the opening round of New Japan Cup action, and Ren Narita advancing as well. The stable’s top junior heavyweight, DOUKI, will try to retain his gold in the main event when he meets Master Wato in a one-on-one setting for the first time in over a year. Will Wato get his long-awaited first-ever run with the belt, or will DOUKI continue to hold it hostage? Check out a replay from today’s show to find out.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown / 8 p.m. ET / USA Network
When Randy Orton won the men’s Elimination Chamber match last weekend, he initially thought that set him up for a Wrestlemania matchup against Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Championship. However, after the show, it was announced that McIntyre would defend his title as part of this week’s SmackDown, meeting Cody Rhodes one last time.
Tonight’s show from the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon, is about as high-stakes as it can get. Not only are McIntyre and Rhodes fighting for the biggest prize in WWE, but they’re fighting for a spot on the biggest show of the year, too. We’re hours away from finding out if McIntyre’s Mania plans will go unchanged, or if Rhodes will walk into Vegas as a three-time undisputed champ.
- Drew McIntyre vs. Cody Rhodes (Undisputed WWE Championship)
House of Glory: Turf Wars 2026 / 9 p.m. ET / TrillerTV+
Returning to Chicago for the first time this year, New York-based House of Glory will be live this evening on TrillerTV+. HOG continues to be one of the higher-quality independent promotions, delivering a strong lineup once again tonight. I’m curious what we could see out of Killer Kelly, who will be making just her second appearance since exiting the TNA roster when she faces Shotzi. The card also features Private Party, The Rascalz member Myron Reed, and an appearance from main champ Charles Mason. If you want an indie option tonight more than anything, House of Glory is a solid option.
- Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy vs. August Matthewz & Davey Bang
- Myron Reed vs. Ca$hflow
- Charles Mason in action
- Shotzi vs. Killer Kelly (HOG Women’s Championship)
- Zilla Fatu vs. Bishop Dyer (HOG Crown Jewel Championship)
CMLL The Night of the Amazonas / 9:30 p.m. ET / Youtube & TrillerTV PPV
Lucha promotion CMLL will give women the spotlight this evening in Arena Mexico with The Night of the Amazonas. The all-women’s lineup is full of talent from around the world, with CMLL competitors mixing it up against AEW and STARDOM wrestlers.
The main event will see Mercedes Moné wrestle her first match of 2026, attempting to defend the CMLL World Women’s Championship against Persephone in a rematch. How will post-crashout Moné do in her return? If you’re a subscriber to CMLL’s top paid tier on YouTube, you’ll be able to watch and find out. Don’t want to commit to a sub? The show will also be available via pay-per-view on TrillerTV with a price of $9.99 (or $7.99 if you’re already signed up for TrillerTV+).

STARDOM Cinderella Tournament Night 2 / 11:30 p.m. ET / STARDOM World
STARDOM’s Cinderella Tournament will continue on Saturday in Japan (late Friday evening in America) with the second half of the opening round matchups. Entrants on the second show worth noting include: Hardcore fan favorite Rina Yamashita, ex-WWE talent Bea Priestley, the soon-to-retire Saki Kashima making her final tournament run, and the powerhouse that is Saya Iida, who has the main event spotlight against Kiyoka Kotatsu.

Saturday
WWE NXT Vengeance Day / 7 p.m. ET / Peacock
NXT will present its first Premium Live Event (PLE) of the year on Saturday night, hosting Vengeance Day from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Tomorrow’s show, the first time since 2022 that NXT has hosted a PLE inside the PC, is certainly not a super high-stakes event. Apart from the main event, which sees Joe Hendry defend his NXT Championship for the first time when he meets Ricky Saints one-on-one, most of the matches come from smaller feuds taking place on weekly NXT programming.
With that being said, on a quieter Saturday evening in the wrestling world, it’s still one of the biggest shows going down. Here’s what the Tuesday-night brand has to offer this evening:
- Blake Monroe vs. Jaida Parker (Street Fight)
- Tony D’Angelo vs. Dion Lennox
- Lola Vice vs. Kelani Jordan (Underground Match)
- Izzi Dame vs. Tatum Paxley (NXT Women’s North American Championship)
- Joe Hendry vs. Ricky Saints (NXT Championship)
AEW Collision / 8 p.m. ET / TNT
AEW will be live from the Tucson Arena in Arizona on Saturday night for an episode of Collision.
After beating FTR in a title eliminator bout last month, Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz of The Rascalz will get to run it back this week, this time with gold actually on the line. If successful, they would spoil FTR’s plan to face long-time rivals The Young Bucks at Revolution later this month.
Earlier in the night, La Faccion Ingobernable’s Dralistico and Rush will return to the ring after months away due to injury in a four-way tag bout also featuring Private Party, The Outrunners, and The Swirl – that should be a hoot.
I’m personally most looking forward to Konosuke Takeshita and Claudio Castagnoli facing off in a rematch from the 2025 Continental Classic. Their last meeting went to a 20-minute time limit draw. Hopefully, this time around can produce a more satisfying result.
- Konosuke Takeshita vs. Claudio Castagnoli
- Swerve Strickland vs. Gravity
- Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd vs. Zay Kassidy & Marq Quen vs. Dralistico & Rush vs. Blake Christian & Lee Johnson
- Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler vs. Zachary Wentz & Dezmond Xavier (AEW World Tag Team Championships)
STARDOM Cinderella Tournament Night 3 / 11:30 p.m. ET / STARDOM World
The second round of STARDOM’s Cinderella Tournament will take place on Sunday afternoon in Japan (late Saturday evening in North America). We’ll learn who gets on this card by watching the results from earlier this weekend!
- Second-round action in the Cinderella Tournament to take place
Sunday
NOAH APEX CONQUEST in Yokohama / 12:40 a.m. ET / Wrestle Universe
Pro Wrestling NOAH will have a notable lineup on Sunday morning from Yokohama, as three titles will be on the line.
Yoshiki Inamura will try to pass his fifth test as GHC Heavyweight Champion in the main event, taking on the incredibly experienced Kenoh. A win for Kenoh would make him only the second-ever five-time holder of the belt, joining Go Shiozaki in the exclusive class. Inamura has prevailed in long matchups against names like Masa Kitamiya, Kaito Kiyomiya, and KENTA. However, facing a wrestler whom he has only ever come up short against in past one-on-one meetings, this might be his biggest challenge yet.
The lineup will also include Jr. Tag League winners Dragon Bane & Alejandro, challenging Daga and Daiki Odashima in a matchup I’m definitely looking forward to. Here’s the full card:
- Atsushi Kotoge, Muhammad Yone & Hajime Ohara vs. Manabu Soya, Shuhei Taniguchi & Aoi Takahashi
- Alpha Wolf, Kai Fujimura, Tadasuke & Jun Masaoka vs. Eita, Kieron Lacey, Black Mensore & Katsumi Inahata
- Naomichi Marufuji & Hiroto Tsuruya vs. Angel Reyes & RYUSEI
- KENTA, Tetsuya Endo, HAYATA & Hayato Koyanagi vs. OZAWA, Masa Kitamiya, Takashi Sugiura & Knull
- Kaito Kiyomiya vs. Galeno
- Daga & Daiki Odashima vs. Dragon Bane & Alejandro (GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships)
- AMAKUSA vs. Mark Trew (GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship)
- Yoshiki Inamura vs. Kenoh (GHC Heavyweight Championship)
NJPW New Japan Cup Night 4 / 2 a.m. ET / NJPW World
The New Japan Cup will head to Hyogo on Sunday for Night 4. The evening will see IWGP Tag Team Champion Yuto-Ice try to begin a singles run against TMDK’s Ryohei Oiwa, and Shota Umino look to get past Chase Owens. House of Torture has been undefeated in the tournament thus far – can Owens keep that streak alive?
- Chase Owens vs. Shota Umino (New Japan Cup Opening Round)
- Ryohei Oiwa vs. Yuto-Ice (New Japan Cup Opening Round
EVE 146: Wrestle Queendom VIII / 12:30 p.m. ET / YouTube
Arguably, the most underrated card this weekend is Pro Wrestling EVE’s Wrestle Queendom lineup from The Indigo at the O2 in London, England. The all-women’s card is stacked, with notable names from all around the world: STARDOM’s AZM and Syuri, AEW’s Willow Nightingale, Harley Cameron, and Alex Windsor, other names like DASH Chisako, Miyu Yamashita, and that’s all just from the undercard!
The biggest match on the lineup will see Charlie (formerly Dakota Kai) make her first post-WWE in-ring appearance, challenging EVE International Champion Kris Statlander. The card will also have a great showcase between two European women’s talents when Rhio and Session Moth Martina face off for the EVE Championship.
If you like women’s wrestling and aren’t interested in this card, I don’t know what to tell you. This is a stellar one. Paid subscribers to EVE’s YouTube will be able to watch live.
- Sudden Death 16-Woman Match
- Hollie Barlow & Lana Austin vs. ??? & Charli Evans
- AZM vs. Safire Reed
- Willow Nightingale vs. Nina Samuels
- Amira vs. Harley Cameron
- Syuri vs. Alex Windsor (NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship)
- Kris Statlander vs. Charlie (EVE International Championship)
- Rhio vs. Session Moth Martina (EVE Championship)
Before we go, just a few more options for this weekend:
- GCW will be live this weekend with a tripleheader of events, doing shows in Louisville, Columbus, and Chicago over the next three days. There are some neat matchups as part of the lineups, including a first-time-ever showdown between Atticus Cogar and Gringo Loco on Sunday night. (TrillerTV+)
- German promotion wXw will present its famous three-night 16 Carat Gold tournament this weekend. This year’s bracket includes Chihiro Hashimoto, Tetsuya Naito, Arez (El Clon), Alan Angels, BUSHI, Erick Stevens, and many others. There are even more names to mention outside of the bracket, like Minoru Suzuki, 1 Called Manders, and Katsuya Murashima, a NJPW Young Lion who will begin his excursion as part of this weekend’s festivities. wXw has an incredibly busy weekend of programming; you can see the entire schedule here. (TrillerTV+)
- Wrestling on TV for the first time since June 2025, Santos Escobar will appear on this Saturday’s taped edition of AAA on FOX. Escobar will be competing for the final spot in this year’s Rey de Reyes match, wrestling in a four-way also involving Mr. Iguana, Psycho Clown, and Abismo Negro Jr. Viewers outside of Latin America will be able to catch the action for free on (Youtube).
