It appears it will be a while before Penelope Ford can make an in-ring return.

AEW President Tony Khan released a video on social media ahead of Collision on Saturday, providing an update on Ford’s status. Khan did not specify the injury Ford suffered.

… Penelope Ford, it looks like, unfortuntately, will be out with an injury maybe for weeks but possibly up to months.

Ford suffered what was reported to be an ankle injury during a tag match on Dynamite on Feb. 26. It was suspected that she suffered the injury when attempting a moonsault off the top rope to the outside. The match between the Babes of Wrath and MegaBad ended abruptly when Lena Kross disqualified the challengers by attacking Willow Nightingale with a title belt.

Collision featured Megan Bayne teaming up with Lena Cross to defeat the Timeless Love Bombs.

Ford had recently returned from injury, coming back in January after spending a few months away from the ring due to a torn UCL.
