Main event of TNA Sacrifice ends abruptly due to injury to Steve Maclin

An apparent injury to Steve Maclin halted the main event of TNA Sacrifice as he was unable to continue.

Mike Santana and Steve Maclin headlined Friday’s TNA+ special from New Orleans, and the match ended the match abruptly after Maclin appeared to be rocked by a superkick.

The two were trading strikes in the opening minutes, and Santana proceeded to throw a superkick. Maclin went down as though he were temporarily knocked out. Referee Alice Lane quickly realized the issue and kept away while flashing the “X” signal, and Maclin was tended to.

Eddie Edwards ran to the ring and briefly brawled with Santana, ending with Santana putting Edwards through a table. During the brawl, Maclin was removed from the ring and never seen again.

Announcer McKenzie Mitchell declared Santana the winner, and the show ended.
