Tuesday’s edition of NXT maintained its audience in the key demographic for its show on the road in New York City.

The March 31 episode from the Infosys Theatre in New York averaged 572,000 viewers and 109,000 viewers (0.08) in the 18-49 demographic on CW. The audience fell by 1.5% from the previous week, while the key demographic audience was identical.

There were minor changes with adults 18-34 falling from 0.04 to 0.03 and adults 25-54 from 0.10 to 0.11.

It ranked last among broadcast shows in prime time, including the NBA on NBC, which led the way with 1,899,000 viewers and 0.38 in the 18-49 demographic. There were no March Madness games to contend with, and cable was topped by 7 Little Johnstons on TLC and episodes of The Big Bang Theory on TBS.

The live special of NXT featured a No. 1 contenders match between Lola Vice and Kendal Grey in the main event on the ‘go-home’ edition before Stand & Deliver.

Over five episodes in March, NXT averaged 577,000 viewers and 0.08 in the 18-49 demographic. It’s worth noting that several episodes dealt with preempting in certain markets.

In February, the show averaged 650,000 viewers and 0.09 in the 18-49 demo with one episode airing head-to-head with the State of the Union address.
