Wrestling Dontaku has its full lineups, as New Japan Pro Wrestling has revealed the cards for the two-night event in Fukuoka in May.
It is a packed set of shows featuring Gabe Kidd, Will Ospreay, Konsouke Takeshita, and Místico, among others, scheduled to wrestle.
Yota Tsuji will defend the Global Heavyweight Championship against Kidd on May 3, stemming from Kidd’s attack at Sakura Genesis.
May 4 will see Callum Newman make the first defense of the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against former champion, Shingo Takagi. Newman beat Yota Tsuji at Sakura Genesis this past Saturday and was challenged by Takagi inside the ring.
Ospreay returns for six-man matches on both nights, teaming with HENARE & Great O-Khan on the second night to challenge Boltin Oleg, YOSHI-HASHI & Hirooki Goto for the NEVER Openweight 6-man tag belts.
Ospreay tells Tokyo Sports that he is unable to wrestle at Dominion in June because he is getting married to Alex Windsor the following day.
