This weekend’s AEW Dynasty pay-per-view has gained two more matchups.
Sunday’s lineup from the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, will include a tag team grudge match as well as a return bout, as confirmed on Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite.
Chris Jericho’s first match in over a year will take place as part of the card, going one-on-one with Ricochet.
After being confronted on Wednesday by Ricochet, who told Jericho it was in his best interest to stop wrestling in AEW, Jericho set his sights on who he would face in a return match. Noting that his new AEW contract included a clause which meant he could face anyone he wanted in his first match back, Jericho booked himself a singles appearance for Sunday with Ricochet.
Don Callis announced on Wednesday night that rivals Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada will attempt to coexist during a tag match against the Young Bucks this weekend.
While Takeshita was against the idea of working alongside Okada, he agreed to do so under one condition: If they win, Takeshita will get to challenge for Okada’s AEW International Championship at Double or Nothing next month. Still, it remains unknown whether the two big names will be able to put their egos aside against the decorated tag duo.
