WWE Raw from Sacramento kicked off with a Roman Reigns vignette calling CM Punk a hypocrite, as old footage of Punk contradicting himself aired. Reigns said in the “main event” tonight, he was going to give Punk the opportunity to tell the truth.

Contact Signing, Part 2 of 3
Triple H and Adam Pearce were in the ring with Pearce announcing that Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar will sign the contract separately. Paul Heyman interrupted, followed by Lesnar, who promptly signed the contract. Heyman called their match the “real main event” of WrestleMania, and Femi was going down.

Charlotte Flair vs. Lyra Valkyria
The first match of the night was two competitors in the WrestleMania Women’s Tag Title match squaring off as Charlotte Flair faced Lyra Valkyria. As the match began, Michael Cole noted that Nikki Bella was still a question mark for this weekend with an ankle injury. Valkyria took control of the beginning of the match until Charlotte caught her with a big boot on the outside as the show went to commercial. Upon return, Lyra was fighting from underneath as the crowd cheered her on. Valkyria continued to score near falls until finally Charlotte threw Lyra into Bayley on the outside. Flair rolled up Lyra with an O’Connor Roll, but Bayley slipped Charlotte’s leg out, and Lyra reversed it for the pinfall victory. The two teams argued and shoved each other as the segment ended.

Jackie Redmond was backstage with Iyo Sky, who said she had lost to Jade Cargill on Friday but would always fight for her friend, Rhea Ripley. Asuka and Kairi interrupted, saying that Iyo was the champion at WrestleMania last year, but now she’s just Rhea’s sidekick. Iyo said Kairi didn’t have to listen to this, and Asuka revealed that Kairi would face Sky later tonight.

The Usos & LA Knight vs. MFT
Next was The Usos teaming with LA Knight to take on Solo Sikoa, JC Mateo, and Tanga Loa. It was noted that Tama Tonga wasn’t there tonight, and there has been some tension between him and Sikoa. The Usos fought from underneath through an ad break, and afterward, Jey made the hot tag to LA Knight. Tama Tonga then showed up at ringside, and Solo and Talla got into his face, asking where he was. Meanwhile, Knight hit Tanga Loa with the BFT for the win.

Gunther & Rollins: Now It’s Personal
Gunther was out next, but before he could utter a word, Seth Rollins appeared and chased him out of the ring. Rollins cut a promo and challenged Gunther to tell him why he wanted to fight him at WrestleMania. Gunther got into the ring and said he was happy to solve Paul Heyman’s problem for him. The two started brawling, and Rollins attempted a stomp on the ring steps, but Gunther retreated through the crowd.

A brief video aired to signify the return of The Demon Finn Balor. Dominik Mysterio was backstage with Adam Pearce, complaining about his father getting into the IC title ladder match as well as having to face The Demon, when he signed a contract to face Finn Balor. Pearce said that Dom was getting what he deserved, and so was Rey.

Iyo Sky vs. Kairi Sane
Next up, Iyo Sky took on Kairi Sane with Asuka in her corner. Sky gained control of the match going into the break, and afterward, Asuka got involved behind the referee’s back, slamming Iyo’s head into the ring post. This brought out Rhea Ripley. Ripley set Asuka for the Riptide, but Jade Cargill appeared, attacking her. Iyo Sky then executed a dive onto Jade on the outside. Iyo set up for the Over the Moonsault, but Kairi pulled the referee in the way, and Asuka knocked Iyo off the top rope, and Kairi rolled her up for the win.

Contact Signing, Part 3 of 3
Triple H and Adam Pearce were back out for the final part of the contract signing between Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar. Femi signed, and Paul Heyman appeared, calling Femi the most violent man to come to WWE since Brock. Heyman offered his services to Femi after he had to rebuild his career after WrestleMania. Femi turned down the offer and said that Brock was scared of him.

A Liv Morgan music video aired for some reason, and it is apparently her new entrance theme. Michael Cole said it debuted today on Billboard, not that it was on any sort of chart.
IC Title Ladder Match Preview
The final match of the night saw Je’Von Evans teaming with Dragon Lee to take on Rusev and JD McDonagh (what an absolutely bizarre tag team). Evans showed off his high-flying offense but was grounded after Rusev hit him with a Fallaway Slam on the announce table. After an ad break, Dragon Lee took control, hitting his own high-flying moveset, hitting McDonagh with the Styles Clash to pick up the win. Rusev jumped the winners after the bell, and Rey Mysterio jogged out to make the save. Rey set up for the 619 but was clobbered by Rusev, bringing out Penta. Rusev took everyone out with Machka Kicks and put Dragon Lee in The Accolade.

One More Face-to-Face, Under One Roof
The final segment of the night was Roman Reigns and CM Punk, face-to-face and under one roof yet again. Reigns’ entrance lasted the entire commercial break, and it took a number of fan chants before he finally did his “acknowledge me” gimmick. This brought out CM Punk, who appeared through the crowd, as a sign reading “Listen to your fans, not TKO” was visible. Punk called the cold open a political smear campaign as the crowd chanted “what” at him. He continued, saying that he envied Roman for his 1000+ day title reign and the number of WrestleMania main events he had been in. Punk sincerely apologized for invoking Sika’s name, but he hated not being born into a dynasty. He said that he had conquered the indies, Japan, and all the VFWs, and he would come out on top this Sunday night.
"I hate you because I envy you" 😲 @CMPunk pic.twitter.com/nEEXckxKk4
— WWE (@WWE) April 14, 2026
Reigns responded by saying he hated Punk too, but mainly because he was jealous of how much Punk was missed as the crowd chanted for him for ten years straight. Roman said he takes back over the WWE this Sunday and proves it’s worth every single dollar, and Punk will acknowledge him. With that, the show went off the air.
