Kota Ibushi appears to be beginning his road to recovery from a broken femur.
Ibushi recently took to Instagram, where he shared videos of himself doing squats and walking up the stairs. The AEW star also sent a message to fans, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks and Tony Khan.
Hello. It’s been about two months since my second surgery. I will definitely be back, so please wait for me. Sending these feelings to Kenny, Bucks, and Tony Khan!! To my dear friends
Ibushi has been out of action since October last year, when he suffered a broken femur in a match against Josh Alexander during a Collision taping. He had surgery done shortly after the injury, but had to undergo a second operation in February to secure a screw that came loose.
At the time of his injury, Ibushi was told by doctors he needed one year to recover and two years to return to the ring. His last public appearance was at Wrestle Kingdom 20 for Hiroshi Tanahashi’s retirement ceremony.
