The second week of NXT’s Revenge TV special will be a title fight triple-header.
We learned on Tuesday night that the April 21 episode of NXT from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, will include a pair of North American title matchups.
On the women’s side, North American Champion Tatum Paxley will once again face Blake Monroe, this time under special Casket Match rules. Paxley was granted a rematch against the champ by NXT General Manager Robert Stone on Tuesday, but under the condition that Paxley would get to pick the stipulation. Paxley decided to compete in a Casket Match after her friend, Shiloh Hill, crafted a casket for her to use.
NXT North American Champion Myles Borne will defend against DarkState’s Dion Lennox next week. Lennox has been targeting Borne in recent weeks, hoping to take the North American belt and capture his first-ever singles title.
The third title match on the card sees Lexis King and NXT rookie EK Prosper face off for the vacant WWE Speed Championship. King and Prosper entered into a four-man bracket for the title after former champ Elio LeFleur vacated the belt due to injury recently.
In a grudge match, former NXT Champion Joe Hendry will take on Keanu Carver. The match was made after Carver crashed Hendry’s concert this week, sending him through a guardrail inside WWE’s Performance Center on Tuesday night.
Along with those four matchups is the previously announced Last Woman Standing bout between Zaria and Sol Ruca, a rematch from their Stand & Deliver clash.
Here’s an updated look at next week’s episode:
- Joe Hendry vs. Keanu Carver
- Zaria vs. Sol Ruca (Last Woman Standing)
- Lexis King vs. EK Prosper (Vacant WWE Speed Championship)
- Myles Borne vs. Dion Lennox (NXT North American Championship)
