For the first time in over a decade, TNA is bringing back its “Lockdown” event.

The steel cage-themed show from TNA, a popular part of its annual schedule from the mid-2000s to early 2010s, will return on August 23 as part of an event from the Credit Union 1 Arena.

TNA first introduced Lockdown in 2005, including the first-ever “Lethal Lockdown” match. It was transformed from a pay-per-view show to a TV special in 2015, before being retired by 2016. Now, 10 years later, it’s back.

The Credit Union 1 Arena is a venue that can hold as many as 10,000 attendees. The new event adds another big venue to TNA’s 2026 calendar. The promotion is also expected to visit Boston’s Agganis Arena for Slammiversary on June 28, and head to the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida for Bound for Glory on October 11.

A pre-sale for Lockdown tickets is scheduled for next Wednesday, with a general sale beginning two days later.
