Weekend TV Guide: WrestleMania Week (Friday)

Is there any wrestling this weekend?

The busiest time of the year, Wrestlemania weekend, has arrived. The next few days will see hundreds of hours of wrestling air live from Las Vegas, Nevada. If you want to see our picks for some of the more notable shows taking place from now until Sunday evening, we’ve highlighted 15 different shows that you’ll be able to watch via TV or streaming in the next few days.

If you want a more comprehensive look at the Wrestlemania weekend schedule, Voices of Wrestling has put together an incredibly detailed list of every event and activity happening in the city. There’s way too much good stuff happening over the next few days, so much that not all of it could make the cut for this story. Alright, without any further delay, let’s begin.

Friday

GCW Gringo Loco’s The Wrld on Lucha / 2 p.m. ET / TrillerTV+

Gringo Loco’s The Wrld on Lucha, a show we didn’t see as part of last year’s Mania weekend, has made up for lost time by booking one hell of a lineup this time around. This year’s card is full of some crazy matchups: El Desperado and Vipress working an extreme match, Arez (El Clon) teaming with Gringo Loco and Vengador to face the Dragon Gate trio of Hyo, Kzy, and Yuki Yoshioka, plus Galeno Del Mal facing AAA’s Jack Cartwheel. Out of all the shows set for Friday, this might be the one I’m most looking forward to.

  • Ciclope vs. TBA (Extreme Match)
  • El Desperado vs. Vipress (Extreme Match)
  • Galeno Del Mal vs. Jack Cartwheel
  • Jimmy Lloyd vs. KJ Orso vs. Devon Monroe vs. Dulce Tormenta vs. Resplandor vs. Rafael Quintero
  • Thunder Rosa vs. Julissa Mexa
  • Noisy Boy, Spider Fly & Briyante Je. vs. Latigo, Toxin & Rey Horus
  • Arez, Gringo Loco & Vengador vs. Hyo, Kzy & Yuiki Yoshioka

STARDOM American Dream 2026 in Las Vegas / 6 p.m. ET / TrillerTV PPV

Although the card suffered a trio of losses due to visa issues, Joshi brand STARDOM is still offering up a strong lineup this weekend in Vegas. This evening’s card, which includes heavy collaboration with AEW, has a ton of fun matchups. The opening bout will be a return for Mina Shirakawa, who hasn’t wrestled in a STARDOM ring since she left the promotion in 2025. The co-main, which sees the AEW trio of Statlander, Nightingale, and Cameron face AZM, Mei Seira, and Starlight Kid, could be fun. Alex Windsor vs. Saya Iida is a strong main event, too.

  • Maika, HANAKO & Mina Shirakawa vs. Rina Yamashita, Suzu Suzuki & Hazuki
  • Athena vs. Rina
  • Natsupoi & Aya Sakura vs. Brittnie Brooks & SAKI
  • Harley Cameron, Willow Nightingale & Kris Statlander vs. AZM, Mei Seira & Starlight Kid
  • Alex Windsor vs. Saya Iida (NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship)

GCW Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XV / 6 p.m. ET / TrillerTV+

No ropes & no pinfalls. Bloodsport, a special GCW event which sees wrestlers compete under the rarely-showcased combat sports-inspired style of professional wrestling, returns on Friday night. This Mania weekend special, which quickly became a highly anticipated part of the year after it debuted back in 2018, has some fun names in this year’s lineup. NJPW legend Yuji Nagata will make his Bloodsport debut, ex-UFC and RIZIN talent turned NOAH talent Ulka Sasaki will compete, striking specialists Janai Kai and Miyu Yamashita will square off, Erick Stevens will continue his return tour against Fuminori Abe, and much more. If you want to see something “different” from the average show, Bloodsport is exactly what you’re looking for.

  • Matt Mako vs. Angel Verduczo
  • Ulka Sasaki vs. Joe Dashou
  • Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Ray Jaz
  • Erick Stevens vs. Fuminori Abe
  • Miyu Yamashita vs. Janai Kai
  • Shane Mercer vs. Royce Isaacs
  • Masashi Takeda vs. Pete Dunne
  • Timothy Thatcher vs. Charlie Dempsey
  • Nattie Niedhart vs. Shayna Baszler
  • Yuji Nagata vs. Josh Barnett

WWE Friday Night SmackDown / 8 p.m. ET / USA Network

Less than 24 hours before Wrestlemania takes place, a go-home episode of Smackdown will take place from the T-Mobile Arena. While not announced yet, we’ll likely hear from Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton (and/or Pat McAfee) before they headline Night 1 of Wrestlemania. The show is also set to feature the annual Andre the Giant Battle Royal, as well as a grudge match to continue the never-ending Wyatt Sicks vs. MFTs feud.

  • Andre the Giant Battle Royal
  • Wyatt Sicks vs. MFTs (Eight-Man Street Fight)
  • Giulia vs. Tiffany Stratton (U.S. Championship)

GCW Joey Janela’s Spring Break X / 10 p.m. ET / TrillerTV+

There’s nothing more chaotic, weird, and unpredictable than the annual Joey Janela’s Spring Break card presented by GCW. The top headlines going into this week’s show, for me, are: Mark Stunt wrestling for the first time in nearly two years, teaming with Jack Perry, Joey Janela facing 14-year-old Brodie Lee Jr. in a grudge match, and, of course, The Sandman facing GCW legend The Invisible Man. I also think that a multi-person “Grab The Brass Ring” bout could be some fun madness.

  • Jack Perry & Marko Stunt vs. KJ Orso & Sam Stackhouse
  • Mance Warner & Steph De Lander vs. Megan Bayne & ???
  • Marcus Mathers, Alec Price & Jordan Oliver vs. Dezmond Xavier, Myron Reed & Zachary Wentz
  • Gringo Loco vs. Shotzi vs. Bear Bronson vs. 1 Called Manders vs. Sidney Akeem vs. Vipress vs. Charles Mason vs. Terry Yaki (Grab The Brass Ring Doors, Ladders & Chairs Match)
  • Atticus Cogar vs. Hayabusa (GCW World Championship)
  • Effy vs. Allie Katch (Loser Leaves GCW)
  • The Sandman vs. The Invisible Man
  • Joey Janela vs. Brodie Lee Jr.

  • Hechicero vs. Jonathan Gresham (CMLL World Heavyweight title)

A little over an hour after SmackDown wraps up, WWE’s annual Hall of Fame ceremony will go live. This year’s ceremony includes the induction of AJ Styles, who wrapped up his career just a few months back at the Royal Rumble. Other inductions include Stephanie McMahon, NBA star Dennis Rodman, and Sid Vicious.

Class of 2026

GCW Effy’s Big Gay Brunch / 2 p.m. ET / TrillerTV+

Before the first night of Wrestlemania goes down, GCW will present the weekend’s annual celebration of queer wrestling, Effy’s Big Gay Brunch. Highlights from this year’s show include the Twink Gauntlet Match, former AEW Women’s World Champion Nyla Rose against HOODSLAM vet Dark Sheik, and Zack Sabre Jr. returning to the brunch for a first-time ever matchup against Effy.

  • Charli Evans vs. Allie Katch vs. Steph De Lander vs. Kidd Bandit
  • Dark Sheik vs. Nyla Rose
  • Twink Gauntlet Match
  • Brick Savage vs. Mad Dog Connelly
  • Mercedez Martinez vs. Vipress
  • Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Effy

WWE Wrestlemania Night 1 / 6 p.m. ET / ESPN Unlimited

The main event of the weekend is Wrestlemania, which is returning to Allegiant Stadium for the second year in a row.

Saturday night’s headliner is the match that, at least over the past two weeks, has become the most polarizing storyline of this year’s card: Pat McAfee-backed Randy Orton challenging Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. Earlier on the card, women’s Rumble winner Liv Morgan will try to take down Stephanie Vaquer, Gunther will meet Seth Rollins, and AJ Lee will make her first Mania appearance in 11 years when she defends her Intercontinental title against Becky Lynch.

What makes this year’s broadcast intriguing is how it is spread out across two platforms: The opening hour of both nights will be simulcast on an ESPN linear TV channel before the rest takes place on their “Unlimited” streaming service. Getting the spotlight in Saturday’s first hour will be a six-man tag match featuring influencer IShowSpeed, as well as an “Unsanctioned” bout between Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre.

  • LA Knight, Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso vs. IShowSpeed, Austin Theory & Logan Paul
  • Drew McIntyre vs. Jacob Fatu (Unsanctioned Match)
  • Seth Rollins vs. Gunther
  • Lash Legend & Nia Jax vs. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria vs. Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair vs. Brie Bella & Nikki Bella (WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships)
  • AJ Lee vs. Becky Lynch (WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship)
  • Stephanie Vaquer vs. Liv Morgan (WWE Women’s World Championship)
  • Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton (Undisputed WWE Championship)

Sunday

GCW Joey Janela’s Spring Break Presents: The Immortal Clusterf*ck / 1 a.m. ET / TrillerTV+

It has become a tradition for Joey Janela’s Spring Break to host a spin-off card each year focused on the “Clusterf***” Battle Royal. The rumble-style match is the most hectic wrestling bout you’ll see all year. Last year’s match, which featured 89 wrestlers and went over two hours, was won by Brodie Lee Jr. Who will prevail in the marathon to end all marathon matches this year?

  • Otis Cogar vs. Matt Tremont (GCW Ultraviolent Championship)
  • 2026 Clusterf*** Match

WWE Wrestlemania Night 2 / 6 p.m. ET / ESPN

The busy stretch of wrestling in Vegas will conclude with, of course, the second night of Wrestlemania. The biggest match of the weekend is the showdown between WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk and 2026 Royal Rumble winner Roman Reigns, who have been hyping up their match with verbal sparring sessions for the past few months.

Sunday’s card will also feature arguably the biggest non-title bout of the weekend, as Oba Femi will take on Brock Lesnar in a clash of two of the roster’s most imposing figures. That, along with a wild six-way ladder match, will be part of the first hour airing on ESPN’s main TV channel.

Sunday’s show will also feature Sami Zayn defending against recent NXT call-up Trick Williams, Finn Balor unleashing his Demon persona against Dominik Mysterio, and Jade Cargill defending against Rhea Ripley.

  • Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi
  • Penta vs. Rey Mysterio vs. JD McDonagh vs. Rusev vs. Dragon Lee vs. Je’Von Evans (WWE Intercontinental Championship) (Ladder Match)
  • Finn Balor vs. Dominik Mysterio
  • Sami Zayn vs. Trick Williams (WWE United States Championship)
  • Jade Cargill vs. Rhea Ripley (WWE Women’s Championship)
  • CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns (WWE World Heavyweight Championship)
