Less than 24 hours removed from his Wrestlemania Night 1 main event showdown against Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes is still banged up from his fight.

Rhodes was pulled from a meet & greet set to go down on Sunday afternoon at WWE World, the company’s convention as part of Wrestlemania weekend.

Ticketholders for the meet & greet with Rhodes were informed on early Sunday morning that he would be unable to attend. The email sent out to fans said:

Dear fan,

Due to injuries sustained at Wrestlemania Cody Rhodes is no longer able to make it to WWE World. Unfortunately, this means your photo op and/or autograph has been canceled.

Rhodes went 22 minutes to defeat Orton in the main event of Wrestlemania 42 Night 1 for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Orton got revenge in the post-match, attacking Rhodes and punting him in the head.

The reigning champ was seen sporting a swollen left eye following the match, as highlighted during the event’s post-show. It was noted on Sunday’s Wrestlemania kick-off broadcast that Rhodes had an orbital injury and wasn’t medically cleared at the moment.
