Comedy acts Toru Yano and Super Sasadango Machine will cross paths once again as part of an upcoming co-promoted event.
The second-annual NJPW vs. DDT card will take place on June 8 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan, the promotions revealed at a press conference on Monday.
NJPW and DDT’s first-ever co-promoted show took place last summer in Korakuen Hall. The main event was a two-hour showdown between Yano and Sasadango Machine, a bout which eventually ended in a double count-out.
They’ll collide once again soon, this time meeting in a Survivor Series-esque 10-man elimination tag match. Yano will captain Team NJPW, with Sasadango Machine in charge of Team DDT.
The event will be available via pay-per-view on both NJPW World and Wrestle Universe.
