Monday Night Breakker

WWE Raw from Omaha kicked off with Roman Reigns arriving at the arena and Adam Pearce telling him that Jacob Fatu wasn’t there yet. Seth Rollins appeared and told Roman he was in his way as Seth’s music hit.

Bron Breakker jumped Rollins from behind in the entrance way and started beating him down. Breakker finished Seth off with a spear, leaving him lying as the crowd chanted “one more time”.

Backstage, Liv Morgan asked Roxanne Perez what Finn Balor was doing in the clubhouse last week. Morgan asked why Perez didn’t mention it to her, and Perez said she should have said something. Liv made Roxanne promise not to keep any more secrets from them. This led directly into the first match of the night.

Balor vs. McDonagh

Finn Balor vs. JD McDonagh was up first, in a rematch from just two weeks ago on Raw in which Balor won in just over six minutes. McDonagh controlled the early portion of the match, with Dominik Mysterio throwing in cheap shots behind the referee’s back. Roxanne Perez came down to the ring as the show went to commercial break. Upon return, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez also appeared as Balor began mounting a comeback. McDonagh then attempted a Spanish Fly, but Balor did not rotate fully and landed on his head and upper back. Balor set up for the Coup de Grace, and the referee saw Dominik knock Balor off the top rope and ejected him. Liv Morgan jumped onto the apron, distacting the referee and allowing Roxanne Perez to hit Balor with the ring bell hammer, and JD picked up the win.

Seth Rollins was interviewed backstage and said he would be fine in time for Backlash this weekend, and he warned that Breakker should have finished the job.

Backstage, The Vision was comparing Seth Rollins to a duck. Logan Paul piped up, saying he was going to permanently hospitalize Joe Hendry. Heyman said Logan Paul was not facing Joe Hendry tonight; Austin Theory was.

Penta & Evans vs. Page & Rusev

The second match of the night saw Intercontinental Champion Penta teaming up with Je’Von Evans to take on Rusev and Ethan Page. Early on, the face team took it to the heels with their high-flying moves, leading to Penta hitting the Penta Driver for a near fall as the show went to commercial. Afterward, Rusev had taken control, beating Penta down. Rusev went after Evans on the outside, but Evans leapfrogged him, sending Rusev into the stairs. Page made his second attempt at Twisted Grin of the match, and for the second time, he was denied. Je’Von continued his aerial assault on Page and Rusev, and for a third time, Page was unable to hit Twister Grin. Evans then set up for a splash on the announce table, but Ego stopped him. Rusev slammed Penta on the announce table, and Ethan Page hit a suplex, pinning Penta.

Sol Ruca & Becky Lynch

The next segment was the official contract signing with Sol Ruca joining the Raw brand. Before Ruca could sign, Becky Lynch interrupted, saying this was supposed to be her time for her Championship celebration. Ruca called Becky a “rude, big-headed bitch” and with that, Sol signed the contract, and Becky went to punch Ruca but nailed Adam Pearce. Ruca then attempted to hit the Sol Snatcher on Becky, but stumbled a bit and was able to recover, mostly covering up the mistake.

The Usos were interviewed in the back, saying that Fatu and Reigns were family business, and at Backlash, Fatu would find out who he was messing with.

Joe Hendry vs. Austin Theory

Next up, Joe Hendry took on The Vision’s Austin Theory. Before the match, Joe Hendry performed a song about firing Logan Paul. Logan Paul interrupted, saying TKO couldn’t fire him as he is the heart and soul of WWE. Austin Theory charged the ring, and the bell rang even though a referee wasn’t even in the ring at the time. Theory started a beatdown on Hendry and tried to calm down Logan Paul, who was fuming on the outside. Just over the three-minute mark, Hendry hit Theory with a fallaway slam, and Logan Paul decided it was time to attack, ending the match in a disqualification.

Theory and Paul started attacking Hendry when The Street Profits ran down, attacking the heels. Bron Breakker then appeared, suplexing Montez Ford right out of the ring. Seth Rollins then appeared and attacked Breakker. Rollins had Breakker set up for the stomp when Ford ran in and dove over the top of Rollins onto everyone else on the outside. This distracted Rollins, and he got another Breakker spear to end the segment.

The Judgment Day was interviewed backstage, with Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez inviting Women’s Tag Champions Brie Bella and Paige to Raw so they could fight. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria interrupted, saying they hadn’t forgotten what they had done to them. Liv Morgan called them losers and walked off.

Obe Femi Open Challenge

Next was the first Oba Femi open challenge, which was answered by Tozawa. Tozawa then thought better of it and pointed to Otis to take on Femi instead. Femi threw Otis easily across the ring and then hit the Fall From Grace (setting Otis up on the second rope first) for the win.

Backstage, Seth Rollins was arguing with the Street Profits and Joe Hendry, saying they were all in the same fight. Rollins told them to stay out of his way, and he’d stay out of theirs.

A video from earlier in the day aired with Iyo Sky and Asuka sitting down for a face-to-face. Sky admitted that she looked up to Asuka and still respects her, but Asuka has changed. Asuka asked who Iyo was, since this Iyo was her biggest disappointment. Iyo said she was ready for Asuka, and Asuka sprayed her with the poison blue mist.

Seis Americanos

The Original Grande Americano was interviewed alongside “Los Americanos Hermanos,” aka the Creeds. OG Americano said that the Real Americanos were triple-teaming him in AAA, and he was glad to have “Julio and Bruto Credo” by his side as they were also close personal friends with Chad Gable, who he noted was still sidelined with an injury. It was noted that the two Americanos have a mask vs. mask match on May 30th in Mexico. All six men started brawling before the bell, and things officially got started with Los Credos taking it to Bravo and Rayo. After an ad break, Gable and Kaiser went back and forth as both teammates tried to assist in scoring near falls for both teams. OG Americano then hit a flying headbutt off the top rope to score the pinfall victory.

Contract Signing

The final segment of the evening was the contract signing between Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu. Reigns told Fatu he demanded respect and complained about Fatu using the Tongan Death Grip. Fatu said he was desperate and had no choice but to take Roman out and take his title. He continued, saying that WWE squeezed every dollar out of their family for decades. Reigns said he was worried about their entire family, whereas Jacob is only concerned about his immediate family. Fatu snapped and went after Reigns with the Tongan Death Grip. Adam Pearce then attempted to break it up, but Fatu slammed Reigns onto the table. Jacob signed the contract and left Roman lying as the show went off the air. For some reason, The Usos never appeared despite their earlier comments.
