Danhausen and his mystery partner, Minihausen, defeated The Miz and Kit Wilson in a heavily gimmick-reliant comedy match at WWE Backlash.

Following a storyline introduced on Friday’s episode of SmackDown, Danhausen unveiled a cloning machine on the entrance stage.

The device produced his tag team partner, a diminutive version of himself dubbed “Minihausen”.

The opening portion of the match featured Minihausen executing several high-flying maneuvers, including a springboard elbow and a satellite head scissors. The Miz and Wilson eventually grounded their smaller opponent, utilizing a delayed vertical suplex and a military press to temporarily halt his momentum.

In a sequence that seemed to delight the live crowd despite the disjointed in-ring action, Wilson trapped Minihausen inside the cloning machine on the stage. The device then malfunctioned and produced several additional Minihausens, who collectively chased Wilson back toward the ring.

Amid the ensuing chaos, Wilson used a hand mirror to deflect a curse, and The Miz executed a Skull Crushing Finale on the original Minihausen.

The Miz then retrieved a fire extinguisher from ringside but accidentally sprayed himself and Wilson, allowing Danhausen to secure the pinfall victory following a pump kick.
