Shane Haste made his first defense of the GHC Heavyweight Championship on Thursday, pinning KENTA in a match involving members of the White Raven Squad.

Haste won the championship on May 2 from Yoshiki Inamura and immediately stated he was going to defend against his stablemate. The pair previously met in September 2013 when KENTA was champion.

Wednesday’s Legacy Rise show took place in front of 1,165 fans at Korakuen Hall and featured a nearly half-hour main event. Haste was victorious after hitting the Bomb Death Valley to earn his first title defense.

Tetsuya Endo has presented himself as the next challenger for Haste, which is set for June 25 at Korakuen Hall.

Tiger Mask had his first match in a NOAH ring since 2014, teaming with Kenoh to defeat National Champion Naomichi Marufuji & Alejandro. The appearance in NOAH occurs two months before Tiger Mask’s retirement bout on July 7.
