The opening night of New-Japan Pro Wrestling’s Best of the Super Juniors 33 kicked off at Korakuen Hall on Thursday night.
Last year’s winner, Kosei Fujita, defeated Francesco Akira in the main event in front of an announced 1,445. AEW’s Nick Wayne picked up a win over Robbie X in his first BOSJ match. Dragon Gate’s Hyo earned a quick win over YOH, and Daisuke Sasaki was another outsider who picked up a win in his match against El Desperado.
