A busy six-match lineup has been announced for next week’s episode of NXT.
The biggest matchup on next Tuesday’s show is a women’s title match, as reigning champ Lola Vice will defend against Izzi Dame.
While Vice has numerous contenders coming after her belt, she chose Dame as her next opponent on this week’s episode. Dame scored a pinfall win over Vice in tag action earlier this month, setting her up as one of the next women in line for the title.
The matchup will be Vice’s second time defending the title since she won it from Jacy Jayne at Stand & Deliver last month. Former North American champ Dame will be searching for her first reign with the belt.
Before Dame goes after the title, Culling teammates Shawn Spears and Niko Vance will be in action earlier in the night, taking on OTM. While both Vance and Dame have stated concern about how the tag match will take some focus off the big women’s title bout, Spears feels optimistic about the opportunity for all three of them to win on the same night.
The title contest is one of three women’s division matches set for next week. We’re also expected to see Wren Sinclair face off against Kelani Jordan in a grudge match. Jaida Parker, who has been feuding with Nattie via backstage segments over the past few weeks, will try to prove a point against one of the veteran’s understudies, Layla Diggs, next week. The bout will be the first appearance for Diggs on NXT’s main program.
Other matchups on next week’s card include Shiloh Hill taking on Birthright’s Charlie Dempsey, and a Speed match between NXT rookie Dorian Van Dux and Sean Legacy.
