Tonight’s go-home edition of WWE Friday Night Smackdown before Clash in Italy has received two new segments.
The show will now feature wrestlers involved in two of the biggest Smackdown matchups set to take place on Sunday’s Premium Live Event (PLE).
Today’s show, which is being taped at the Olimpic Arena in Barcelona, Spain, will feature an appearance from Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. The champ plans to address the recent attacks from Gunther, who he is scheduled to face in just two days for his title.
Tonight’s show will also include Jade Cargill, who plans to deliver a message for WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley.
It was previously confirmed that tonight’s episode of Smackdown will feature a match between The Miz and Spain’s own Axiom. Will The Miz be able to overcome his curse from Danhausen and beat the Spaniard in his own backyard?
Today’s episode of Smackdown will air at its usual 8 p.m. ET start time on the USA Network. However, international viewers on Netflix will be able to catch the show live at 2 p.m. ET, hours before the tape-delayed show premieres in America.
