Sol Ruca has defeated Becky Lynch to capture the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Clash in Italy.

The title change occurred after a frantic final sequence where both women traded finishing maneuvers. Ruca escaped a Manhandle Slam attempt, leaped onto the middle turnbuckle, and executed the Sol Snatcher to secure the pinfall victory.

Moments before the finish, Ruca intercepted Lynch’s own attempt at a Sol Snatcher, turning it into a Manhandle Slam for a near-fall.

The defending champion controlled significant portions of the match and frequently argued with referee Jessika Carr. Lynch eventually utilized Carr as a shield on the top rope, which allowed her to temporarily gain the advantage and deliver a superplex.

The competitors also exchanged submission holds midway through the encounter. Lynch attempted an armbar and her signature Disarm-Her, but Ruca countered with an STF to force a break.

Ruca set a fast pace from the opening bell to overwhelm the veteran. The challenger utilized a standing moonsault, an Orihara moonsault to the floor, and a handstand counter to avoid Lynch’s initial attacks.
