Paramount and UFC announced in a press release that their media rights partnership will extend to Canada in 2027.
Canadian Paramount+ subscribers will have access to all 13 UFC Numbered Event main cards for the next six years, starting next year. The announcement is part of UFC and Paramount’s seven-year media rights deal announced in 2025 that made Paramount+ the home for UFC events for fans in North America, Latin America and Australia.
Quotes from UFC President and CEO Dana White and Paramount+’s Head of Direct-To-Consumer in Latin America and Canada were included in the press release. Details on the first UFC events to stream on Paramount+ in Canada would be announced later in the year.
The press release also claimed that the UFC’s debut on Paramount+ in the United States and Latin America earlier this year was the service’s biggest exclusive live event in history. It also claimed that over 10 million households have watched more than 100 million hours of UFC programming on Paramount+, which would be a 15x increase in viewership over average pay-per-view events over the past two years.
